We're in the process of working out our schedule for 2018, our 15th season of operating international racing trips.
We've been booked already for at least one private departure next year, so we'll probably be offering only two open trips. The definite one will be to France in early October for the Arc de Triomphe, which returns to the newly rebuilt Longchamp Racecourse in Paris after two years in Chantilly. The second, which will be sometime in June, will either be one including the Oaks and Derby at Epsom; a return to Baden Baden in Germany where we had such a great time in 2016; or Royal Ascot, if we can work out a few issues with the racecourse related to such a trip. All trips will as usual include farm and training visits and other racing in addition to the major events.
It wouldn't hurt for you to let us know now if you have any preferences among the above possibilities.
Our projected visit to New Zealand, originally planned for March 2018, will now take place in March of 2019. And we had mentioned previously the prospect of a Japan trip; after scouting this destination extensively last year, we were not satisfied with the set of arrangements we'd be able to put together and thus we're not at this time contemplating an excursion to Japan.
We expect to have the website updated with the 2018 schedule by late October and all the trip details posted by early December.
Meanwhile, please don't hesitate to get in touch -- either by e-mail at email@example.com or by toll-free telephone at (800) 261-0499 -- if you'd like an up-to-the-minute update or have an interest in any of the trips described above.
We look forward to hearing from you and to going racing with you in 2018.
